Grammy Thoughts.
After the unfortunate snub that so many of our black artists take every year at the prestigious Grammys. So, many black artists go on accredited for their amazing creativity and hard work. It almost is inevitable that this will happen to several black artists every year. I am not at all trying to pull the race card but, I think it is truly said that so many of our artists are walked over for the Grammys. POLITICALLY, I assume record sells qualify your acceptance as an artists. I think this argument is completely unfair. Underground artists today are becoming more and more popular and the typical radio plays and number singles are getting accounted for less and less. There are so many successful artists who can sell out a venue without having to really be on the radio. Artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and J. Cole have proved it. They released MORE free music than they have singles and albums. Artists today are realizing that the power is in the people and not with the execs. I think that is important to remember, the people have the power. That is why I think the Grammys is becoming less accountable for the real rewarding of music. The Grammys has been ruled as a POPULARITY contests.

Bobby Kristina Gordon?
YESSSSS, after about two years of stories and outrage it has been confirmed. Bobby Kristina and Nick Gordon are officially married. They also say they receive Cissy Houston's "blessing" WOW! I am actually happy for her, I have my personal thoughts on Bobby Kristina but, I love that she is happy. Losing a mother can be oh so hard and if Whitney were here she would want her baby to be happy.
I think they are a beautiful, young couple.
I am wishing them the best because Bobby Kristina has already been through
so much, I wish nothing but the best for them.
Forever and Always. RIP Whitney Houston

BEYDAY!
KING BEY! I have been loving myself some Beyonce as usual. I honestly think I am her number on fan until I meet other people from the BeyHive. Beyonce has truly been an inspiration to myself and so many
other women she is a true role model. Her albumq new Beyoncé (I have been listening to it for three consecutive weeks) is just everything plus more. I could just go on and on about Bey, lol. I just wanted to share some of my favorite moments of Bey.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOV!
Today, Dec. 4th one of my favorite artists Jay-Z turned 44. Jay-Z is a true example that anything is possible as long as you stay persistent. He has achieved so much in his career. (Side note: I also will be attending his concert on Dec. 19th, WHOOP!!! I am super hype.) Jay-Z is beginning a new journey in his life, for the next 22 days, he will be living a vegan lifestyle. He is calling it the 22 day challenge, feel free to read more about it from his blog, here. I don't know if I would ever be able to embark on this journey, lol. However, it is Hov and he has already achieved so much why not add 22 day vegan onto his resume.
Happy Birthday!
Jay-Z for PREZ! I would vote for him.
Hov and The His Queen!
I love me some BLUE!
