Bobby Kristina Gordon?

YESSSSS, after about two years of stories and outrage it has been confirmed. Bobby Kristina and Nick Gordon are officially married. They also say they receive Cissy Houston's "blessing" WOW! I am actually happy for her, I have my personal thoughts on Bobby Kristina but, I love that she is happy.  Losing a mother can be oh so hard and if Whitney were here she would want her baby to be happy.

I think they are a beautiful, young couple.

I am wishing them the best because Bobby Kristina has already been through
so much, I wish nothing but the best for them.

Forever and Always. RIP Whitney Houston

Young Jeezy.

Rappers really have become the new rockstars. They are ALWAYS in the media for just about anything.  Today is Young Jeezy's day. Rapper, Young Jeezy recently turned himself in for allegedly beating (abusing) his son.  Young Jeezy gave his son a brutal beating him allegedly "Jeezy got into a fight with his son in a bathroom and he threw his son into the glass shower door, causing the son to hit his head.  Then Jeezy allegedly punched him in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, threw him on the bed and pummeled him." (Source: TMZ)

OKAY! This is a lot to take in but, this happened over a YEAR AGO!  Of course, everything is just now getting messy because, Jeezy just recently got charged last week and he turned himself in.  I am from the south and whoopings are apart of growing up. My parents as well as my friends' parents have all issued out brutal whoppings or (ass beatings).  Of course, as we get older you can't keep using the same tactics so, whatever his son did Jeezy made sure he is never going to do it again.  I don't know any details of why the situation got so out of control but, if Jeezy's son did anything such as raise his hand to his father.  Then, I think Jeezy's son got what he deserved. (Yes, it is extreme but, if he was in my household he would get the same punishment)

Tom Ford.

I try to find inspiration in so many different ways and in so many different people.  I recently have been watching several documentaries and motivational movies.  I have found a huge love for TOM FORD! Tom Ford is from my home state, Texas. (another reason I love him)

Tom Ford is a famous designer and hands down one of the best designer's in the world.
Tom Ford has been around for several years and has worked as creative director for Gucci and YSL.
He later started his own brand and began working to do what he truly loves.

Tom Ford has designed looked from almost every A-List celebrity.  He truly worked towards his dream.
Tom Ford moved from home and he left not really knowing how to fulfill his true purpose.
Tom Ford has built his own company and still continues to work and strive for success.

Below is his documentary!

New Year!

OMG! I can not believe it is already 2014.  2013 was such a busy year for me I graduated high school, participated in multiple activities, and went to so many different outings (concerts, seminars, and etc.)  I spent 2013 observing and getting to know myself. Despite the busy year, I did realize everything I want to accomplish in life.  I want to do more than dream, I want to make my dreams reality.  I want to continue to grow as a person and keep on getting to know myself.  I have spent so much time at home being sheltered I now am finally getting ti do things on my own.  I am realizing what friends are and how friends are.  I am also beginning to think further into life.  I know I am still so young, but sometimes I do want to know where this journey of life is taking me and how long and how far is this ride going to take. Although, I know I must live one day at a time, I can't think too much into the next ten years, I must get through this year.  I challenge myself as well as others to make this year your GREATEST, do as much as you can because life is so short.  Stop waiting, dare yourself to create your own opportunities.

Happy New Year,

OnlyFaith

Nelson Mandela.

Wow, Dec. 5th, we lost a hero, an icon, a leader, a legend.  Nelson Mandela who had fought so long for the civil right of South Africans, had been battling for a few years with health issues.  On Dec. 5th, he passed away.  Nelson Mandela was a great man who inspired more than his nation but, people all over the nation.  It brings tears to my eyes to hear the news we have lost another legend, despite his age Mandela managed to keep a positive spirit.  It almost seems unreal.  As a college student, I look up to people such as Nelson Mandela because I see their legacy and journey as inspiration to keep going.  Nelson Mandela hard work and determination will never be forgotten. RIP Nelson Mandela

“When people are determined they can overcome anything.” -Nelson Mandela

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”

"A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination."

RIP Nelson Mandela.

RIP Pimp C.

While today I celebrate another year of life for one king, I also celebrate the legacy of another.  Dec 4th 2007, we lost Pimp C.  Pimp C means a lot to me for several reasons.  Pimp C is a product of the same community I am from, Port Arthur, TX.  Ironically, he branched out to Houston to begin his career and so am I.  My community isn't exactly the best but, by seeing the legacy he had began lets me know that it is possible to achieve greatness.  The entire UGK movement is so inspirational to me.  I see how Bun B has transformed his rapper aspirations into so many amazing projects. I just still am in amazement of how a group out of my community was able to impact the entire world.  I know from their examples one day, I as well as so many of my peers throughout my community can achieve this. I am so blessed that God gave my city inspiration through this man.

'A LOT OF CLONES BUT THERE'S ONLY ONE SWEET JONES'....PIMP C

His legacy will never be forgotten.  His legacy will continue to inspire me.
