Where Are They Now?

ESTER DEAN.  Remember that song featuring Chris Brown, DROP IT LOW, GIRL! Well, I actually liked her music and was looking forward to more catchy songs but, she never surfaced back into main stream.  She has done a few little lowkey projects but, never really came back out. Well, Ms. Dean has been making her money through song writing.  She has been song writing for some of the top pop singers, that we all love. (Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Rihanna and more)  She was also honored this year as ‘Songwriter Of They Year’ last night at the 60th Annual BMI Pop Awards in Beverly Hills. She has been song writing the past year include, Rihanna’s "What’s My Name?",” “Rude Boy,” &  “S&M,” Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass,” Usher's "Hot Tottie," Ludacris "I Know You Got A Man" and Katy Perry’s “Firework”.  She has also participated in films, Rio; the boy in Gondola, Ice Age: Continental Drift; Sloth Siren, Pitch Perfect; Cynthia Rose.

Don't sleep on this young lady!

You better WERK girl. 'Songwriter of The Year'

No doubt, she is still making money and  we definitely need more women in the industry MAKING the music.
